A psychic attack is the sending of negative energy with the conscious or unconscious intention to inflict mental or physical harm upon a person. These negative energies are typically projected in the form of thought from another individual, or from negative or demonic entities. Many different cultures and traditions, including Kabbalah, Chinese, and Indian, recognize these malicious spells and other spiritual attacks as a serious threat.

Negative energies, such as spirit attachments and energy vampires are far more prevelent than most people are aware. ( An energy vampire is a term used to describe a living person who "drains" others emotionally. They do this either empathically, by draining the prana or life force or metaphorically by taking emotionally without giving anything in return. These so-called "vampires" are not to be confused with the blood-sucking vampires of folklore.)

One theory holds that demonic entities initially haunt people to break down their wills and to create an atmosphere of fear and confusion. This weakens a person on physical, psychological and spiritual levels. Once a person becomes weakened to this extent, it becomes easier for a demon or other entity to take possession of that person. Demonic possession differs from a demonic haunting in that a person’s spirit and body become the object of the possession. This demonic control may manifest in many degrees from mild to complete (perfect possession).

Negative entities are bent on destroying the positive aspects of a person's life when the negative energies cross through "the veil between worlds" and progress from hauntings into personal attachment and spiritual possession. Some people are more susceptible to picking up these spirits than others and they become attached. It is possible that you can pick up these entities when you become emotionally distressed or are suffering from post traumatic syndrome disorder following a violent experience, accident, or other trauma, as this can alter your mind pattern and put you in a state where you are more likely to absorb these energies. Negative entities are usually not seen, nor physically felt or heard, until the entities have taken control.

Demonologists believe that once demonic entities possess an individual, exorcism may be necessary, but that can often be a difficult and dangerous process. Therefore, an exorcist may have to conduct a ritual purification by undergoing a spiritual and physical cleanse to purify themselves through fasting and praying beforehand. Otherwise, the exorcist may become spiritually weakened and subsequently harmed or influenced, due to a demon’s great powers of manipulation. According to many accounts of exorcism, unseen evil forces or the possessed individual can frequently injure an exorcist. It is therefore critical that people do not attempt exorcisms themselves and that they seek help from a trained and experienced spiritual practitioner.

The best way of dealing with negative entity attachments is...

... DO NOT GET ATTACHED TO BEGIN WITH!

Although spirit and demonic attachments happen to people through no fault of their own, many people actually “invite” these attachments through their ignorance, arrogance and stupidity.

Many people today suffer from negative spirit attachments because they simply do not know what they are doing or whom they are dealing with. They may be ignorant of the forces involved and not know how to deal with them when they are encountered. They may think they know and understand these forces and meet them with an arrogant attitude of believing they can easily deal with them and keep them at bay. Or, they may just draw them into their own energy fields by reckless behavior.

When you "play" with the occult and its "tools" you are opening doors to other realms that you do not know and the forces that reside within, offering yourself up as a free meal of energies for dark entities to come and feed upon. You are playing at games that you do not know the rules to, nor comprehend the consequences of getting into the game.

There are those who wish to "experiment” with Spiritualism.  (The practice by which the spirits of departed mortals communicate with the living and the living can conversely communicate with the dead.) Demons rarely manifest themselves as they truly are and the untrained individual can literally open the door to these malevolent entities, masquerading as angelic beings, who wish to enter this realm in order to cause emotional turmoil which they will then feed upon. The Ouija board is a classic port of entry.

Ouija boards and séances have been used by thousands of people untrained in spirit communication.  Both forms of communication are dangerous because they are usually uncontrolled forms of communication.  Most often the spirits are those who reside on "the lower astral plane".  These spirits are often very confused and may have died a sudden violent death, often through murder or suicide and there may be violent, negative and potentially dangerous conditions present when using these methods.

"Ouija Boards have a huge problem. The problem is there is no way to
arrange for a specific spirit, like a specific deceased relative or
friend, to come and answer questions. No one knows why, but friendly
spirits don't seem to like Ouija Boards. Or they don't like the
company of negative spirits that are drawn to Ouija Boards. In fact,
the very last place you are likely to contact a deceased relative
or friend is through a Ouija Board.

Using a Ouija Board is like opening the front door and asking
everyone to come in. You have no idea who will actually walk in
the door. It could be neighborhood thieves, murderers, insane
people, etc... 

It is not that the Ouija Board is "evil" as some people believe,
it is that some spirits are simply not nice, well-meaning, or
mentally well balanced. Some unkind spirits find joy in frightening
humans. Others find joy in giving wrong or harmful information.

Thus, I must tell you that the use of the Ouija Board is simply
unreliable and surprisingly dangerous.
